The YPU Podcast, produced by Young People United (YPU)—the youth division of the Medway African & Caribbean Association (MACA)—is now available on YouTube, with new episodes exploring the experiences, opportunities, and challenges shaping young people’s lives across Kent, Medway, and beyond.
Hosted by Aaliyah Likuluta and Yeni Fadiya, the podcast brings together honest conversations, lived experiences, and thoughtful debate on topics including education, career pathways, identity, wellbeing, community issues, and the rapidly changing world young people are preparing to enter. Each episode encourages listeners to think critically, share their own perspectives, and feel empowered to shape the conversations that affect their futures.
The YPU Podcast tackles the conversations young people are already having—but often don’t have the space to explore openly. Rather than providing all the answers, the podcast aims to create a platform where different perspectives can be shared, challenged, and understood, while highlighting opportunities and inspiring young people to navigate life with greater confidence and awareness.
